But….wait…that’s MY title!
Yep, after a year and a half, my title has been taken. *sigh*
It’s a good title, a title that fits beautifully with the story. I can’t even wrap my head around changing it.
Now what?

I had that problem, and it wasn’t just another book. It was a trashy movie from the 70’s. Ugh!

Hahahaha. Sorry;(
I found mine as a film company, a rock band, a video game and….a novel published in 2009. Hmpfh. I take it you changed yours? The verdict is still out on my next move.

It depends, there are plenty of things that have the same name. If you changed the name, do you think it wouldn’t feel connected to the story? I mentioned about this in “How important is the Title?”

The title, which yes, I will be changing, is one I love and fits better than any I have yet to create. I don’t create titles at the beginning of a WIP. This one came in due time during the course of writing. I have a few ideas, but none that are quite on target or as connected. So….still brainstorming.
Problem is, it’s a roll of the dice to keep a title that others are using in various forms. If my book gets searched on google, I don’t want a few other names popping up as well.
