The Difference Between Writers And Other People
You get ideas from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time. The only difference between writers and other people is we notice when we’re doing it.

I just need to get writing again! What blogs should I look at to help me look for hints and tips for beginner writers, or should I just write and write and write?

See all those sites in my blogroll? Besides yourself and Elena, follow them. Lisa Kilian isn’t updating her blog anymore, but her posts are worth reading even a year later. All the others are big names, trad and indie published.
I read as much, maybe more, than I write. It can be overwhelming but it’s part of the learning process as well as the inspirational one.
But really, you can’t force it. It should just come, I think. And yeah, write, write, write is good, too. Two years and I am STILL fiddling around with my MS. Nuts.
Hope that helps. Have a good one, Leigh. đ
