TIED, The Fire Born Novels (# 1), Countdown to Launch

In honor of TIED’s official release on the 9th of September, I’ve decided to do a small teaser each day until the launch. 😉

Here we go:

Crisp leaves crunch under my feet, and a sweet scent drifts in from the nearby waterfall. I listen to it splashing off the rocks, inhaling a deep cleansing breath, the dampness of the forest warming my bones, before turning, heart hammering, eyes narrowing, frozen in my tracks.
